March for Babies

Tomorrow, April 30th, our Preemie Proud Team will be walking in our local March of Dimes: March for Babies Walk in honor of all the premature babies in our lives. 

Our team will have 3 former preemies walking with us.  These are (my daughter) Braleigh, (my sister) Ashley, and a cousin.  We are also walking in memory of "Angel" twin boy cousins born at 21 wks.  Prematurity as effected our family in many ways over the years.  I told our local March of Dimes coordinator that luckily we have had many success stories and only a heartache or two.  

So if you are in our local area and want to walk with us, contact me at crystal@preemieproud.com .  Our team is about 30 members strong, but we will be more than willing to welcome more people!

WOW! That is all I can say!  Where does time go? I do apologize for not posting in a while.  Our schedule has been hectic to say the least!  I will to do better!

Congratulations to Lauren Marie and her parents.  Lauren is now a graduate of the NICU and at home with her family!  Way to go sweet baby girl!

Micro Preemie Prayer Request

We received this prayer request early this morning...

"Bobby and Clete - Both boys were born on February 8th at 25 weeks 2 days. They have been fighting strong in the NICU, but Clete is battling a PDA and Bobby complications from a grade 4 brain bleed. Mom and Dad are hoping that both boys can avoid surgery. Please pray... for the boys and for Mom and Dad."

Preemie Prayer Request

We received this prayer request today and I would like to share it with you.  Please remember these babies when you pray and their parents.

"Please pray for our little guys. Kellen was just born at 23 weeks and Reis is still in the womb. Please pray that they can survive and that they are healthy. We believe in miracles and the power of prayer and we know God has complete control over this situation and his will be done.
